Asalam Alaykum waramotullahi wabarakatuh esteem sisters.
I was woken by a call @ 6.00a.m on wednesday morning from my beautiful sleep. Feeling grumpy. The caller guessed he woke me up and quickly dropped that he will call back. Since i was already awake i just called back. He then informed me that there is a lady ( widow)who put to bed at home battling for her life in Ibadan. The man said a good samaritan rushed her to the hospital. I guess i didnt hear the widow part. I asked does she not have a husband? Then he repeated again she lost her hubby last month.
Immediately I reached out to Ibadan coordinator ( God bless her) to intimate her of the situation and do what they can for her in terms of feeding and clothing. Before evening same day she had visited the hospital and the report was worse than we had anticipated.
Report on Aisha Muhammad (Widow and mother of triplets)
Aisha Muhammad has a 4yrs old son in her home town, her aunty brought her to Ibadan last year to source for living and the aunty went back to the home town.
Aisha is a very hardworking young lady, she sells cooked rice, along the line she met her husband and got pregnant , unfortunately the husband died in a ghastly motor accident a month ago.
Aisha delivered her triplets(a girl and two boys) on Sunday 23rd December, 2019 at her residence in Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State.
One(girl) of the babies died on Monday, a good Samaritan took the remaining two babies to Adeoyo Hospital and they were referred to University College Hospital, Ibadan on Tuesday 25th December, 2018.
SOJ Sisters in ibadan have raised money to help start treatment but there is still a long way to go. The children are on oxygen as we speak.
We need sisters to help keep this woman and her children alive.If you are in ibadan you can also visit them with whatever you have.

PART 3
FORMS OF ABUSE OF MUSLIM WOMEN
"Domestic violence is an ongoing, debilitating experience of physical, psychological, and/or sexual abuse in the home.
• Although Islam promises women protection from such problems, the reality in many Muslim homes is different.
The most common form of abuse is emotional and mental abuse. In Muslim homes, this includes verbal threats to divorce the wife, to remarry, or to take the kids away if she does not do exactly as she is told; intimidation and threats of harm; degradation, humiliation, insults, ridicule, name-calling, and criticism; false accusations and blaming her for everything; ignoring, dismissing, or ridiculing her needs; neglect and the silent treatment; spying on her; telling her she is a failure and will go to hell; twisting Islamic teachings to make her feel worthless because she is a woman; restricting her access to transportation, health care, food, clothing, money, friends, or social services; physical and social isolation; extreme jealousy and possessiveness; lying, breaking promises, destroying trust; etc. Emotional abuse can take place in public or at home.
Although it's completely contrary to the example of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, the Muslim community nonetheless tends to dismiss the seriousness of mental abuse, rationalizing it as a petty argument between husband and wife, and saying it's not serious unless he hits her. In reality, mental abuse does severe psychological harm to many Muslim women. It destroys their self-esteem and makes them question their self-worth; some have mental breakdowns and go insane.
Furthermore, psychological abuse can lead to physical abuse.
Physical abuseincludes pushing, shoving, choking, slapping, punching, kicking, and beating; assault with a weapon; tying up; refusing to help her when she is sick or injured; physically throwing her out of the house; etc. Physical abuse escalates in frequency and severity.
The third form of abuse is sexual abuse, involving forced, violent sex. For example, a wife may not want to have sex for health reasons, but the husband may force her anyway.
These three forms of abuse are usually related and occur of a long period of time. Muslim men, just like non-Muslims, often start with mental abuse and work their way up. Muslim women need to recognize the signs of escalating abuse.

God says to David ' in 2 Samuel 12:8; I gave your master's house to you, and your master's wives into your arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more."

But the Jew(Israelites) and the Edomite (the black) shares the same tradition. A widow is not allowed to be seen in the Street, but been remarried to their husbands relatives or friends, Gen 38.

The new testament completely responded seamlessly on POLYGAMY matters. The new testament talks about every expect of Christian living axcept POLYGAMY. Mathew 19:3-9, Jesus spake about God initial plan for man. He condemned divorce but did not condemned POLYGAMY. Paul admonishment to Timothy on how to elect Church leadership, just like the case of levite of old (Moses...), 1 Timothy 3. The point of contention here is, If there were no men with more than a wife in the Church, Paul Won't have mentioned it. Also in 1 Corinthians 7:39.

Effects of POLYGAMY
POLYGAMY has it merits and demerit in the society and Christiandom at large.
1). In the Society, the Maternal Mortality rate is high in the female fox compare to men. The number of girls birth rate is higher than that of men, and the number of men dead rate is higher than that of women. The number of widows keep increasing geometry adding up to the number of single women in the society.
This leads to increase of infidelity, adultery, formication in the society compared to the days of our forefathers. So pathetic now adays to see our single girls fighting with widows for the ownerships of a guy.
2). Religiously, the so-called MONOGAMY has cause more harm than good in Christian-dom. God says in Gen 1:28 'God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground'. But what do we have today? Christians going into family planning. The Israelites lived 430yrs only in Egypt, but Pharaoh became scared because of their rapid growth in population. I can't imaging if they were practicing Family planning and Monogamy.
IBB in his craftiness (knowing fully that Christians practiced MONOGAMY) deliberately introduced Family planning to control the ratio of Christians 65/35 of Muslims in Nigeria. He ask every Nigerian to give birth to four (4), but to his Muslims of four wives, each wife four(4). Meaning, to every 1 Christians child is 4Muslim Children, yo every 4Christian children is 16Muslim children. Now just about 30years, the population of Muslims is 50/50 to that of Muslims. If this continue, what will be the ratio of Christians in Nigeria in the next 30years?
This invariably means;
a). Nigeria is trailing the path of Turkey, North Sudan.....
b). Muslim/Muslim ticket for Presidency is assured one day.
c). Muslim/Muslim ticket in Kaduna is assured one day.
d). Our children will be denied admission/appointment.
e). Our children will be force to Islamize
f). Our daughters (that we are trying to protect today) will be used as sex slaves.
f). Sharia law will be adopted to it fullest to undermine Christians fate.

THINKING ALOUD
I love and support polygamy
I hate polygamy
I can cope in a polygamous marriage
I cant share my hubby,where were they when I was suffering with him
I'm a widow I need a man in my life most probably only a married man will be interested in me
Co wives are wicked stepmother
First wives don't always want to accept co wives
Men cannot do justice between their wives
Co wives come with juju and spiritual attack
First wives want to jujulise man so as not to look at another woman
Protect your territory
Relax your territory cos of widows and divorcee
Me I will divorce him if he takes another wife
Me oo I will stay.There is nothing wrong after all I'm from a second wife
Polygamy scattered my family
Polygamy has really helped my family
Step children hate each other
Step children help each other
Men are callous they ditch older wives
some men are fair amongst their wives
I'm too jealous to be in a polygamous marriage
I'm not a jealous person I can cope well
Let her come in she does not know I'm the bread winner
I want to go and chop that man money I must marry him
Allah ordained polygamy
But Allah said whoever can treat them equally should go ahead or marry one if you cant

I just want her to shift small but now I will take him completely or share him with her

I love and support polygamy
I hate polygamy
I can cope in a polygamous marriage
I cant share my hubby,where were they when I was suffering with him
I'm a widow I need a man in my life most probably only a married man will be interested in me
Co wives are wicked stepmother
First wives don't always want to accept co wives
Men cannot do justice between their wives
Co wives come with juju and spiritual attack
First wives want to jujulise man so as not to look at another woman
Protect your territory
Relax your territory cos of widows and divorcee
Me I will divorce him if he takes another wife
Me oo I will stay.There is nothing wrong after all I'm from a second wife
Polygamy scattered my family
Polygamy has really helped my family
Step children hate each other
Step children help each other
Men are callous they ditch older wives
some men are fair amongst their wives
I'm too jealous to be in a polygamous marriage
I'm not a jealous person I can cope well
Let her come in she does not know I'm the bread winner
I want to go and chop that man money I must marry him
Allah ordained polygamy
But Allah said whoever can treat them equally should go ahead or marry one if you cant
Husband snatcher
I just want her to shift small but now I will take him completely or share him with her
It causes me pain to see him with another woman
He is our husband let me enjoy him too
Abeg hand dey pain me
Make i continue
Its a never ending circle
There is no point arguing
Oh ye women
We better stop this bitterness and bickering and think of ways to support ourselves with loving words and care
Oh ye who accepts polygamy
